L.A. at Play is an exploration of creators and collectors of figurines and dolls that connect to L.A. history, culture, and fandoms. The NHM online series includes a monthly video and dedicated webpage that tells the story of the diverse makers, collectors and influencers from various communities, cultures, and backgrounds in Los Angeles. This year’s design direction took its inspiration from vintage doll cutouts to emphasize the history and DIY aspect of the series.
