I began my career in New York working with fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier, and later moved to Los Angeles, where I continued to work for various fashion, lifestyle, and fitness magazines. With my training as both a graphic designer and a photographer, I utilized my unique skillset to lead creative teams at in-house organizations and small agencies. After gaining years of experience in both the private and nonprofit sectors, I launched Golden Design Studio. For nearly a decade, my client roster grew to include prominent L.A. institutions such as UCLA, USC, LAist, the City of Los Angeles, and the City of West Hollywood.
Currently, I serve as the Creative Director at the Natural History Museums of Los Angeles County, where I lead a team responsible for all outward-facing creative efforts. This includes brand strategy, design direction, photography, and video content, all while strengthening the organization's creative vision across print, digital, and social media as well as onsite.
My deep love for magazines often has me reading print versions of Vogue and Bon Appétit in my free time. I also enjoy jogging through my neighborhood, keeping an eye out for interesting plants for my yard, cooking up a storm for my family and friends, and making lists for just about anything.
